The damage aspect of those skills allow them to drop archers quickly. Anybody can drop an archer. As for the effectiveness, you can also disrupt a melee chain with Clumsiness, and Crip Anguish is an elite snare in the first place. Wow, extra degeneration. Big whoop. I would seriously consider something that frees my elite slot such as Imagined Burden.

Me/E isnt even brought into question here...i gave you the bar i use a few posts back that does quite a bit of armor-ignoring damage and can drop any boss in seconds....show me an ele that does that
If I'm right you earlier said you use a SoI Ele. Or something about it anyway.

Sure, CoP, CoF, and Ether Nightmare are useable off any other profession, but you're missing the other usefull mesmer hexes like empathy and backfire...and if you're going to tell me you're going to run empathy and backfire off an ele then GG now(which btw are amazing skills in pve)
Eww. Those skills make me sick.

SS isn't a good skill, even in PvE either. They are only nice additions to your bar and nothing more.

if you're running rit simply for splinter then lol because not only are you missing out on FC, but you're also missing out on SoI which also lets you cast 11 spec pain inverter, cop, etc etc etc but 14 spec backfire, empathy, and auspicious/conjure and pdrain which is much much more e-managment than a rit could ever hope to have
Oh, okay. Fast Casting doesn't have much of a decent effect in PvE, and if you really want it use a sexy skill named Mind Bender. Splinter Weapon is the main reason to use a Ritualist. 11 spec in a PvE attribute isn't impressive, especially when 1 level from max is only marginly lower. As for PDrain and Auspic, I can run them too as the only reason other than Channeling and Restoration. I can also run GoLE at 0 spec. I can also run energy management by smart usage of my skills too.

Elementalist, cause I like big numbers, and Mesmers are hard to play to good extent and don't really shine till HM/Higher endgame areas, and with ursan who would bring a mes.
